Tanamera Lodge rates are inclusive of dinner and breakfast. Our menu changes daily offering our guests a variety of carefully prepared meals with a South African flair. We can cater for halal and vegetarian dining as well as other dietary requirements such as gluten-free, diabetic, celeriac etc on prior request. Guests have the option of dinning in the main lodge with the other guests, or in the privacy of their chalets should they wish. During summer, both dinner and breakfast is served on the decks of either the main lodge or the chalets, weather permitting.
We serve a buffet style continental breakfast which consists of a selection of sliced fresh fruit or fruit salad, sliced cold meat cuts and cheese. This is complimented by a choice of cereals together with plain or fruit yoghurt. For our English breakfast, we offer eggs to order, served with bacon, sausages, mushroom, tomato and toast. In addition, we offer daily specials such as pancakes, flapjacks, muffins or scones, accompanied by a variety of fruit juices, coffee and tea.
Dinner at Tanamera is a three course table de haut menu with a choice between 2 starters, 2 main courses and 2 desserts.
Tanamera Lodge has a small but well stocked wine cellar with selected wines from a variety of South African wineries. This also includes most varieties as well as local sparkling wines.
Our well stocked bar offers a selection of spirits, local beers and cold drinks. If you have any specific requests as far as wines and beverages, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to source your tipple.
